Earlier this year, IRIBA’s research directors Prof Armando Barrientos and Dr Ed Amman were interviewed by The United Nations University World Institute for Development Economics Research (UNU‐WIDER) about their new project.

Watch them explain why more countries in Latin America have set up cash transfers than Africa (0.07), the aims of IRIBA’s research (3.10) and if the recent economic slowdown and protests spell the end of the Brazilian development model (8.00).
